Petros Family House is situated in the village of Megala Chorafia.  This authentic village houses around 300 inhabitants and is 12 kms from the town of Chania.  This property is set high above the village and commands views of the White Mountains and Souda Bay.  

The living room has a wood beamed ceiling and fireplace.
The house consists of a living room; bedrooms: one twin, one single, one double (situated on the vide with an extra single bed below); bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen.

This Cretan house has a pool situated in the garden. The distance from Petros Family House to the taverna (O Strata taverna is open all year round but closed on Christmas day) is about a 10 minute walk, and the nearest shops are about 4 kms in Kalives.

Megala Chorafia is situated in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking Souda Bay.  With a backdrop of  the White Mountains and surrounded by completely unspoilt countryside, the views from the village are quite breathtaking. Many of the traditional stone houses have been restored, and the pride of the villagers in Megala Chorafia is completely understandable. 12 kms from the town of Chania, Megala Chorafia is literally covered in wild flowers in the Spring and in late autumn, the hillsides are scented from their covering of wild narcissi which edge the olive groves.
