Situated on the edge of the village of Gavalahori Villa Koumos has been designed to ensure that nearly all rooms in the house benefit from the marvelous views that stretch across the village and olive groves below, all the way to the sea on one side and the spectacular White Mountains on the other.
Newly finished Villa Koumos provides comfortable, quality accommodation for up to six people. The air-conditioned villa comprises three levels with the swimming pool on the lowest level. The three bedrooms, one double with an ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom are on the next level.

Two of the bedrooms have a shared balcony that over looks the pool and enjoys the excellent views. On the top level is the combined open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen is fully fitted and the living area has comfortable seating. From both the kitchen and the living area double doors lead onto a spacious terrace perfect for enjoying breakfast and lunch and of course the views. Dinner will no doubt be a BBQ at pool level at sundown or in one of the village tavernas, easily reached on foot in less than 10 minutes! Other facilities in the village include a bakery, where bread is baked on the premises, a café, two mini-markets and a patisserie.

The closest beach, reached in 6 – 7 minutes by car, is at Almeritha. The bay here is sandy and offers safe swimming for children. There is also a wide choice of tavernas and cafes at Almeritha, many situated picturesquely right next to the water, where you can enjoy fresh fish, regional dishes and, if necessary, burgers for the children! The area is a delight with a huge choice of exploring possibilities giving you the opportunity to discover Crete’s extensive history, archaeology and nature.
