hillside on the edge of the Cretan village of Kokkino Horio inspiring and
breathtaking views from all sides of the house take in the beautiful blue
of the wide open bay of Souda and the magnificient White Mountains. This well located villa stands alone on a large plot of land and provides luxury accommodation with a well thought out design. The large pool (10m x 5m), where you are sure to spend much of your day has the prime position of Kali Thea looking directly on to the wide open ocean but the villa is also surrounded by spacious balconies and patios that provide both shady and sunny seating areas and wonderful views. |
Built
all on one level the interior includes three bedrooms, two doubles and one
twin, all of which have ensuite bathrooms, two with showers and the master
bedroom with both a shower and a bath. A utility room with a washing
machine, dryer and iron. A seperate fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all mod-cons and the spacious open plan living area has comfortable seating, TV, DVD, video player and CD player. Large french doors lead from the living area onto a spacious covered patio where, once again, you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views to the sea. A further addition to your comfort is the mosquito nets fitted to all of the outside doors and windows in the villa. |
This
idyllic location offers easy access on foot to the village, which has one
taverna and a small shop for basic supplies. The little village of Plaka
is just 2 kms away offering a couple of tavernas and a bakery and the
nearest beach is just 4kms away in the pretty resort of Almeritha, which
offers a shallow, sandy bay and transulcent water. Almeritha also offers
some water sports, an excellent choice of tavernas, a couple of
mini-markets, a bakery and a patisserie. Our price includes car hire because the area is a delight to explore but we think it might not get used much because you will find it a little difficult to drag yourselves away from the comfort and tranquil location of Kali Thea. |
