Traditionally a fishing village Almeritha, even with the addition of tourism, still retains its charm and simplicity. Nestling around the bay this pretty village has all you need for your stay. Village life centres round the tavernas, of which there is plenty of choice, with almost all of them situated next to the sea. Their position makes it easy to keep an eye on the children enjoying the sandy beach whilst enjoying a glass of local wine and some fresh fish! Domina Houses are three houses situated at the end of the bay of Almeritha. |
Their position, slightly away
from the village centre, assures them of peace and quiet and yet only a
300 metre stroll will bring you to the beach, tavernas, cafes and shops.
The Domina house that we are offering is detached and built on one level.
It has two bedrooms, one double and one single (enough room to add another
bed if required), and bathroom with shower. The open plan kitchen/living room is light and airy and has a corner fireplace. |
There is a traditional hand carved wooden sofa that is large enough to be used as a bed if required, and the kitchen comprises a good size fridge/freezer and full size cooker. The spacious covered balcony that runs along two sides of the house means there’s no shortage of space for relaxing, eating and, of course, enjoying the beautiful views across the bay. We think Domina Houses are excellent value for money and make a great base for a family holiday or for those who wish to explore the richness and diversity of Western Crete. |
