This spacious villa is excellent value and ideal accommodation for an extended family, a group of friends or two families travelling together. It is positioned less than 30 minutes drive from Heraklion Airport making it a convenient location for those who don’t want to travel far on arrival. Although we describe the villa as a three bedroom villa there is an additional studio below the main house that can sleep a further 2 people, giving the option to accommodate 8 people if desired. The studio can be accessed from inside the villa or it can be completely private and accessed from an external door outside the villa. The open plan split level ground floor is spacious, light and airy. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area leads conveniently from the kitchen.

Of course, eating in Crete always takes place outside as much as possible, so double doors lead from the living area to a terrace, which overlooks the pool, gardens and surrounding hills of olives. The three bedrooms, two twins and one double, are on the top floor. A bathroom adjoins the twin bedrooms and the double has an ensuite. The studio, situated below the living area on the same level as the pool, has twin beds, a shower room, and simple kitchen facilities. Doors lead from the studio onto a terrace, from where you can access the pool.
Although the villa is situated in a very rural location, it doesn’t take long to reach the area’s attractions. 

The road that runs past the villa leads uphill to the little village of Elia and following the same road downhill you can reach the sea and sandy beach of Amnissos in less than 10 minutes. Knossos, the island’s most famous Minoan palace, is situated on the edge of Heraklion, approximately 30 minutes away. The Lassithi Plateau with its hundreds of windmills is less than an hour away. The cosmopolitan harbour town of Agios Nikolaos and the beautiful coastal resort of Elounda where you can catch a boat to Spinalonga island can be reached in 45 minutes. For golf fans the newly built 18-hole course is situated just 8 kms away and the water parks of Aquasplash and Watercity are also close by and make a great day out for all the family.
