Antiopi is situated amongst olive groves in a natural rural area and yet
conveniently close to all facilities. Located approximately 1 kilometre
from the sea between the beach side resort of Platanias and the small
village of Adele, (800 metres), Antiopi’s lovely position offers
tranquillity and seclusion as well as easy access to tavernas, cafes,
shops, beaches, watersports and village life.
Green lawns and pretty gardens surround the front side of the house
which is accessed by large gates at the main entrance.To the rear the 60
sqm ecological swimming pool, a prime feature of this charming property,

prominent in its design. On the ground floor there is a spacious dining area and fully equipped open plan kitchen, which includes a dish washer. A door leads conveniently from the kitchen to a shady veranda, ideal for al fresco dining. A few steps lead from the dining area to a comfortable living area from where the poolside terrace and gardens can be directly accessed. On the same level are two bedrooms, one with a single bed and the other with a double bed, and a bathroom which has the luxury of an “in-shower” water-massage facility. A short second stairway leads upwards from the dining area to a second bathroom and the master double bedroom, which has a private veranda that looks onto the swimming pool and gardens. In the village of Adele, 800 metres from the house, there are a couple of tavernas, mini markets and small shops, and at the beachside resort of Platanias you will find a wide choice of tavernas, cafes, shops, and water sports on its long sandy beach. Rethymnon with its beautiful old Venetian harbour is also only 7 kms away, which we are sure you will be drawn back to time and time again during your stay. It is a great venue for dinner and for exploring some of the island’s long history amongst its wonderful old narrow streets and ancient sites, or for just whiling away a few hours on its beautiful sandy beach! |
